What wouod be the more embarassing First round loss?

Yes I am doing another one of these only this time they are more unlikely and bizzare.

1.Washington Capitals make a huge comeback and finish the season as the #2 seed. Then in the first round against the Winnipeg Jets, the Caps take a 3-0 series lead. Winnipeg then ties the series 3-3, and in game 7 Washington chokes a 8-0 lead.

2.The Boston Bruins finish as the #1 seed and face the #8 Toronto Maple Leafs. However, Phil Kessel and Dion Phaneuf both get injured and can't play in the series. But Toronto surprised everyone in Boston. In game 1 the Maple Leafs win 21-0 and 9-0 in game 2. Game 3 in Toronto, the Leafs win 8-1. Then in game 4 the Maple Leafs have some trouble win the game in 4 OT 1-0.

The 2nd one by far. People may not think of the Bruins as that great.Then losing 9-0, then 8-1. Some Bruins fans living in, let's say California, might not want to cheer for them anymore, because they would feel emberassed.The Caps coughing up a 3-0 series lead isn't really embarassing. It happens all the time. But losing an 8-0 lead, that's pretty bad, but not as bad as getting beat 21-0

That's easy number 2 besides the odd game here and there Boston been kicking Toronto a$$ for the last 3-4 years now to get sweeped and only score 1 goal would be embarrassing to say the least
