Who get's boo'd whenever they touch the puck?

Question

I went to a bball game (against my will mind you!) when the lakers played the nuggets and everyone boo'd Coby Briant whenever he got the ball.
Also, the Sharks boo Pronger everytime he touches the puck.
Is this common or something? Is there a particular player your team boo's everytime they touch the puck?

Well, seeing as how we are fans of the same team, i guess there's no surprise that Pronger gets booed everytime he touches the puck at the Tank. Have you also noticed that Selanne gets booed as well now? Scott Hannan to an extent as well. Either the player is an a$$ around the league or bailed for another team instead of yours, I think those are the 2 main reasons for getting booed.

It's pretty common. If you watch the playoff series between the Senators and Penguins, you'll be able to hear them boo Crosby in Ottawa. I believe Ottawa papers have called it respectful booing. There are many players that are boo'd for a variety of different reasons around the league. It's a pretty common occurance.

After seeing the way you spell Kobe Bryant it is apparent that you really don't like basketball. Us Leaf fans boo Alfie everytime he touches the puck, in Toronto AND Ottawa. We boo Sean Avery and Wince Carter (NBA) as well.

It depends on what the player did. Because the player did something good (like Jagr in Pittsburgh (won a cup) and gomez in New Jersey (won 2 cups)) they left their teams that they won w/ for more money and a new team. That is why some teams boo different players.

I used to boo Yashin every time he touched the puck as a New York Islander. He deserved it for breaching his contract. I hope he and his asshole agent heard me loud and clear.



Leaf fans boo Daniel Alfredsson every time he touches the puck, even at Scotiabank Place. They did, however, cheer wildly last week while he was lying on the ice injured. Such classy fans they are.

Always the Ref. In Anaheim the crowd chants "Ref Suck" when they make bad calls. Pronger gets booed in every arena except The Honda Center.
