Question:
There isn't one NHL player who doesn't have a flaw, so stop complaining.?

Crosby is a whiner.
Ovechkin goes overboard on the celebrating.
Malkin has... well, he's weird with woman.
Lidstrum imagines things.
Hossa... never mind.
Eric and the Staal brothers like their booze.
Avery...

These are just the popular ones many people like to criticize. I know I'm just scratching at the surface here, not really going into depth with less popular players. But was there ever a perfect NHL player?

Which leads me to my actual questions: Which player, in your opinion, made the stupidest decision(s) on or off the ice? Which players would you just like to pound some sense into (besides those obvious)?

And here's one for you old fuddy-duddys: I wasn't alive when Bobby Orr played. Did he have any major flaws that the public and press would nit-pick at?

1) Some players smile and some don’t. Would you smile for your roster picture? Why? I would smile because when your taking a picture you smile. Not with my teeth though, cause right now I have braces. 2) Would you respect the best player on a crappy team or an average player on a superb team more? Best player on a crappy team. But I respect all NHL players unless they take cheap shots, or take HGH or steroids or w/e 3) If you were a NHL rookie, would you try not to smile when you scored your 1st career goal, or would you celebrate with showing your chompers? I wouldn't care....1st NHL goal once comes once. 4) If you lost a tooth, would you bother getting a falsie? Yea, or maybe get one when I'm done my career. 5) If a hockey pad manufacturer wanted to pay you $500,000 to endorse their products, but you think their equipment is uncomfortable, unsafe, and actually hurts your performance, would you still endorse their pads? No, if people look up to me and they start buying that stuff it would be unsafe. 6) You get put in the penalty box and you don’t really care, because you know that you were deliberately hooking that guy. Do you talk to the Official in the box? If so, what would be your conversation starter? lol, just random stuff. This is from the female perspective.

Perfect? Nobody is perfect, I agree with you. There were a few that barely messed up. Gordie Howe and Rocket richard. And the stupidest off ice decisions came from Bob Probert. The man dug his coke.

EDIT: I wasn't alive for Bobby Orr's awesome days in Boston. But back then there wasn't a channel like ESPN to bring up negative news like that. There was newspapers. And those reporters back then made sure everyone looked good for the most part. Probably why we only hear great stuff about Rocket and Howe.

EDIT 2: Oh, and I don't want to pounce on anyone, LOL. I do stupid things to, LOL. I wouldn't want anyone to pounce on me when I mess up, LOL.

EDIT 3: You are right. I'm not a teen. I'm 30. I just enjoy this website.

It's Lidstrom, not Lidstrum. And what does your statement (that cannot be proven) about Malkin have to do with how he plays hockey?

You real question just cries out to have Sean Avery as the answer, don't you think? Other than that, maybe Nikolai Khabibulin's famous year of the hold out.

Rick Nash seems pretty strait laced

I don't need perfect players as long as they have a neutral or positive effect on the clubhouse and on the ice

This sounds like more of a statement on human observation than a question haha..

Nobody is perfect...we like to see the flaws in others, but not ourselves, especially in this day-in-age. To know is our desire, to put it best. This is why there is media. Bias or unbias.

I just don't like players who exploit the game...

Crosby.

"Crosby had also kept his previously visible emotions in check this postseason until he was moved to slash Detroit forward Kirk Maltby on the foot after the final siren of that game, when the Red Wings were queuing up to congratulate Osgood. “Under five . . . like a three,” Maltby said, when asked to rate the severity of the slash on a scale of 10. “It didn’t hurt.” Crosby said his love tap was a calculated response to what he described as Maltby’s “lip service.”

Seeing a pattern?

Avery's Public Enemy #1... I don't have to explain..

P.S. I can see reasons that you are a writer...haha
