Anyone else miss Olympic hockey?

I really love the NHL but I feel that it just can't compare to the excitement of Olympic hockey. Anyone feel the same way, or do you enjoy the NHL much more?

Absolutely. They seem like they played with such pride and aggressiveness while with their country's team but now that the NHL is back in session it seems like they lost that pride.

After watching all the great hockey teams in the Olympics, watching the NHL is less exciting. It's all back to the 'regular' days. :(

Well if they weren't playing in the Olympics they would be playing in the NHL. So no matter what they will be playing hockey and have the chance of getting hurt. Quit being such a baby about it. You talk about country pride even though the players don't know you. Well the same thing could go for a NHL team. If you don't have pride in your nation then why have pride in your hockey team. Neither know of your existence.

yea, i feel the same way too. It felt really different to start watching a NHL games again. The fans in the stadium of an NHL game can NEVER compare to the fans in GM place cheering for Team Canada.

I do! Its the best. NHL is great also. I would have to say olympic is better because its the best professionals not just pros its the best pros facing off with eachother and that makes great exciting hockey!

Yeah I definitely miss it, but I think that's the beauty of the Olympics.

It comes every four years and everyone gets all excited for it.

There's nothing we can really do to bring it back, but I'm starting to get used to the NHL again. It's Saturday Night Hockey... hopefully that will bring us back!
