a lot of my friends use the Easton Synergy stick, and i like the feel of it, it's a great stick.

anyways, i am joining my first year of hockey next year (as a left wing) and i wanted to get one, but there are so many different forms of the Synergy i just don't know what to choose.

I am looking Specifically for a wood stick, so that might narrow it down. cause i think the synergy comes in composite too.

to Echo, the synergy is a carbon fiber stick- not fiberglass or wood. Exclusively. There is no wood version. However, you can buy a shaft and fit it with a blade, which is what I would recommend for starting. that's a two piece system and it's a lot cheaper, especially when you're learning what blade pattern you like best.

If this is your first year of hockey i would just by a cheaper wooden stick like a ccm or something a synergy is 100+ and that is a stick you should by when you get a better shot and softer hands.

But if you still want the synergy.....

There is not wooden synergy stick a Easton synergy is a composite light weight one piece stick there are many differnt kinds of synergy's which i will list.

The easton synergy is the first of the synergys that were made they are light weight but are not very strong. cost around 100$

Than there is the easton synergy grip same thing as the synergy but has a gripy shaft.

The easton synergy ci core was the next of the synergys this one is light and pretty strong.

The easton synergy ci core grip is about the same thing but with the gripy shaft.

Than i will skip some and just got to the easton synergy elite

this is the newest and the best of the synergy's so far it is very very lite and very strong but it isnt cheap it goes for around 150$ than there is the sl and st they are almost the same as the elite but not as lite as the elite

First of all i would like to state that i am almost certain that there isn't any wood make of synergy, but i am from Canada so it could be different. So considering the fact you want a wood stick the one that i think is tops in my book, is surprisingly the Sherwood 5030. It is "feather lite" and definitely the best wood stick. It ranges for 20-35 bones which is a fair price considering the quality. I hope this helped

Well, Synergy's aren't really for beginners because they ONLY come in composite. Your right to get a wood stick, they're easier when learning to catch passes and they have a better feel for the puck and the ice. Composite sticks are for more advanced players.

I'd go with a Sherwood...nice wooden sticks.

According to the Easton Website...the Synergy doesn't come in a wooden stick. Check out their website if you don't believe me.

if your buying a wood synergy its a knock off of the composite and if you want a wood stick get a black bauer 3050 the wooden synergys suck might as well buy a 10 dollar stick

haha its a prety nice stick for its price. It has the same design as the easton stealth from four years ago. Its a little heavy but not that bad, and for not that much more you can get the easton stealth s11 which will be a little lighter

its a good stick but if you really want a good stick from easton go for the stealth but it is pretty expensive. But a great stick, probably one the best sticks on the market.
