Question

So on my way to work today i was listening to sports radio and the personality stated "With the announcement that Turco wont return and the retirement of Mike Modano, what will the future hold for your dallas stars". I got so angry and a little upset that Mo some how had announced his retirement and dfw sports radio found out before me, i reflected on how awesome its been to watch him and that i have never been a true fan of a team without Modano on the roster (i was born 1985) well i get to work and try as i might did not find ANYTHING stating he threw in the towel yet! thank god...

now that i have my rant heres my questions

1) Feaster came on the radio the day before Dave Andreychuk was basically forced to retire, and said that Andreychuk will not be retire mid-season. Oh, that's right, that was a lie, not a miscommunication.



2) The first one that came to mind: I once was on a date with a guy, and we were doing the whole "laying on the blanket...staring at the stars" thing. I decided to make my move because I could tell this guy was somewhat freaking out, and he was too scared to "go there". I put my beer down in the grass, huffed out air in my hand really quick to see if my breath is kicking, and gave him a gentle peck on the mouth. Immediately after he says, "No thanks". I was crushed. I could not believe I was rejected after we had such a good time together. Anywho....so this same guy keeps asking me out on dates. I was totally confused. On like our 5th date.....we went to a par 3, and he was doing the whole "here let me reach behind you and show you how to swing like a normal person" thing. Suddenly, he starts sucking on my neck. I said like, "What the fizzle? When I kissed you, you said no thanks, but now your making a move?"





He replied, "Ha, Ha, Haley...you moron, I SAID "That was nice." not "No thanks"!!!!!!!"

When the Penguins were down and out, I read an article that stated Lemieux had agreed to move the team and everything was set up in KC. For a few days I was really heartbroken until I read it wasn't finalized and the only thing that was done was mario went to visit KC.

I was suppose to go on vacation to CA with a good friend of mine in high school and mom said I couldn't go because CA was goign to fall off into the ocean. turns out, she was wrong:(

1. i don't put much on sports stories, unless i'm literally watching or hearing the press conference; but ESPN's (Herbstreit's) story on Les Miles becoming the Univ. of Michigan head football coach.



2. it's classified (seriously); let's just say that it had something to do w/ a certain North American country's military forces somewhere in SW Asia.
