Picking up those three defencemen doesn't seem to have been the solution. I think that this season is a lost cause for them. However, Mika Noronen is an improvement over Cloutier.

I'm a fan of them and I hope they can get their act back together soon. It has been tough with the injuries they have had, but all teams do have them. The loss of a first string goalie and 3 starting defencemen down the stretch is pretty tough though. I think Auld has done well, especially for being in his position and coming to be a #1 goalie. There have been some good rookie defencemen this season, but they need experience. Adding the 3 did help, but not as much as Jovo or Salo's shots would! I do like the makeup of the team and would just like to add another starting defenceman and a strong 3rd line center.

they had a really bad stretch last couple weeks, but have hopefully turned it around (we will see...). the sedins, carter and auld have been very good, with the rest of the team being mediocre. coach crawford hasnt done everything right, but nobody does so too bad.



As of right now, i wouldnt change anything. I would leave all changes until after the playoffs, at which point they may not be neccessary. If the team fails to make it past the 2nd round of the playoffs, the first thing i would do is dismantle the "big" line, and make Trevor Linden team captain. depending on the playoff results i would consider also firing coach crawford.
